STOP PRESS! 3 skippers could win the GAMES on Sunday!

After 9 GAMES events it is tight at the top of the leaderboard and all the top boats will be descending on 3 Rivers on Sunday 13^th for the sail off to determine the winner of this new series.

A brand new and unusual trophy, the MIDGLEY Memorial MUG is up for grabs for the skipper that can stay cool and consistent under the pressure of this finale; not easy with forecast winds blowing over the trees from behind the control area.

However this contest should make for good spectator sport and be a fitting climax for this Marblehead series, which has done a great deal of good to revive interest in the racing of these fabulous boats. The success of GAMES in Scotland has led to the extension of Marblehead racing once again into the SW District in the World Championship year of 2012.
