Built in 1948 by Mr L. Toseland of the Wicksteed Model Yacht Club based at Kettering Northants. She was of vertical bread and butter construction believed to be in yellow pine. She was designed in the 1930’s/1940’s by Mr Reg. Lance, a leading model yacht designer of the time. Registered on 6th April 1948 with a registered number of K1043 under the name of “Kaytellen. She was sold in 1950 to a Mr D B Green of the Bedford Model Yacht club and re-registered under the same number but with the name of “Windrush” Re-registered in 1953 to V Crean of Poole MYC and further re-registered to S T Grant in 1956.
