MYA Race Levy 2018
At the recent council meeting and as a response to members comments at the 2017 AGM, the MYA Council has decided to re-introduce the MYA Race Levy for MYA National Championships and Ranking events. The intention of the levy is to provide a fund that will be available to the MYA Racing Officer for use in future improvements to the MYA racing structure in the UK, whilst the spend of the fund will not be restricted it is anticipated that it will be used in race management training, and event organisation.
Any club or class which wishes to propose an initiative that may require access to the fund should contact the MYA Racing Officer.
The levy will be introduced from the 1st Jan 2018 and must be included in event budgets for MYA National Championships and Rankings.
