News from the recent MYA Council meeting

Council wish to announce that Henry Thorpe has agreed to take over as the MYA technical officer from Richard Wills, council have voted in favour of co opting Henry Thorpe.

Henry brings a wealth of enthusiasm and knowledge into this key role and we welcome him to council. Council wishes to thank Richard Wills for his work and a speedy recovery.

Council are pleased to announce the return to council of Bill Green in his roll as the Midland District councillor.

The next MYA AGM and trade show will be held on 24 November 2018, at Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club, Green Lane Lowton Warrington WA3 1BQ. It is the intention to rotate the AGM and trade show around the country on a 3 year cycle so next year the M&S district will host and the year after it will be the MD turn to host.
