Welcome to the 2026 IOM World Championships

The MYA and its members warmly welcome all competitors to the 2026 IOM World Championships. We wish everyone a safe journey, an enjoyable week of competition, and hope you leave having experienced some truly fantastic sailing.

Planning for this event has taken many months, and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who have contributed their time and effort. Without their dedication, hosting such a prestigious event in the UK would not be possible.

We would also like to thank Datchet Water Sailing Club for giving us the opportunity to showcase our sport at their superb venue.

Measurement, practice, and welcome activities begin on Friday 15th May, with racing taking place from Sunday 17th May through to Saturday 23rd May (Lay Day Wed 20th) .
