The MYA appreciates that, following the recent statement regarding the Roadmap to easing of lockdown restrictions in England, our members are keen to resume club activities. However, at this stage we must reiterate that the position is still “No Go” on sailing or any other club activities due to the “Stay at Home” message that exists until 29th March 2021.

The MYA will be using the RYA England Roadmap (shown below) as our best indication of timelines to easing of restrictions in England. The MYA will also be monitoring guidance and law in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland for further information.

We will update you further when definitive dates exist for when sailing can resume. In the meantime, it is recommended that clubs review their Covid risk assessments for each proposed roadmap step in preparation for resumption of sailing.
