  1. Hi, Try Mike Ridley at model radio workshop. He is very experienced and knows just about every rc system ever made.
  2. I have read the instructions for the smartwinch and from my understanding of it the travel limiting is done at the sheeted in end of the travel. This in my option is not good as it will give a very distorted curve to the travel. For better to do it all on the tx epa,s. Then program and curve you may want. As far as protecting the the sheet lines etc. If you are worries put a weak lint in somewhere. Use a fail safe on your setup or fit a 2anp fist in the battery circuit. Use the smallest pulley you can and limit the travel as little as possible with programming as this will cut down on the resolution and holding power or the winch. Ask someone who flies large model planes or better still gliders. Mechanical set up is the most important thing to get right first.
