Congratulations to Craig Richards – 2023 DF95 Global Champion

The UK DF95 class would like to offer our hearty congratulations to Craig Richards (GBR 5), the new DF95 Global Champion. After a hard fought week of racing at Fleetwood MYPBC Craig was rightly crowned champion. Having sailed a fantastic event where he was always in the mix, over the twenty one races that were run he never counted a result above 7th. A Champions week and nearly 20 points clear of second placed John Tushingham (GBR 51).

Huge congratulations should also go out to the Fleetwood MYPBC who, under the guidance of Derek Preistley and David Rose, put on an amazing ten days of racing and social activities. Other club members were on hand to offer assistance in making the job happen to the high standard that it did. Thank you Fleetwood, the DF95 world skippers that turned up had an absolute blast.
