Gordon Keeley

The sad news is that Gordon passed away on Sunday evening, 16th of September, aged 90. He was a great enthusiast for model yachting in all its forms over the last 50 years. Best known as a vane sailor and race official, he was a prolific builder of boats of all classes and was the first to take advantage of lightweight A boat designs to enable him to sail Fleetwood with his wife Margaret. Latterly he sailed radio boats and was a current member of the Yeovil and District Model Boat Club.
