2024 MYA Scottish District DF95 Championship, 10th August hosted by Ayr Bay RYC at Barshaw Park, Paisley
Following postponement of the event from earlier in the year, the event was run by Ayr Bay RYC at Barshaw Park, Paisley on Saturday, 10th August.
Race Officer Patrick Johnston called the 20 skippers together for the briefing explaining the use of the Heat Management System, particularly given the challenging wind conditions, varying from 5 to over 30 knots in the squalls. Initially there were three heats but this was later reduced to two heats after four skippers withdrew during the day.
Congratulations to the winning skipper, John Taylor from the Fleetwood Club, with Chris Nichols from Levenhall in second and Robert Rooney from Paisley in third place.
