2023 MYA Scottish District IOM Championship series – overall results

The MYA Scottish District IOM Championship series comprises four events – three Travellers events and the IOM Championship. One event score can be discarded. This year, the three Travellers events were hosted by the Paisley (T1), Greenock (T2) and Tayside (T3) clubs and the IOM Championship event was hosted by Kinghorn.

Congratulations are extended to Brian Summers who is the overall 2023 MYA Scottish District IOM Champion and winner of the Sir Thomas Lipton Cup! Richard Rowan was just a single point behind in second place. Third place was a very close run matter with Ian Dundas just pipping Richard Ennos who was fourth. It is noteworthy that of the top four boats, three were home-built emphasising the point that this is not a “cheque-book” competition.
