2022 IOMMDCS & C Trophy Presentation.

Yesterday 29^th January 2023 I travelled up to Lincoln RSC for the rescheduled IOM winter series event taking with me both the champion skipper and club shields that we were not able to present at the end of last season.

A quick word with Derek Priestley (MYA President) before the event got started and we had arranged that he would present the shields to the winners during the lunch break.

Jen Hand called all the skippers together whilst I gave Derek some background about the champion skipper series. Derek looked at the engraved shields on the back of the trophy and remarked that the series had been going 30 years.

The champion skipper for the 2022 IOMMDCS was Dorian Crease from Two Islands RYC, the final results sheet is here: IOMMDCS&C 2022 Skippers 11-10-2022

The champion team for 2022 IOMMDCS & C was Lincoln RSC, and Mick Chamberlain accepted the trophy on behalf of the club. He was heard to say that they would have to build a trophy cabinet now. The results sheet is here: IOMMDCS&C 2022 Clubs 11-10-2022
