2014 IOM Euro’s- Thursday update

News has been a bit hard to come by at Lake Garda, things have been a bit tough for the GBR skippers so not as much social media as normal!

There appear to be a few issues with the breeze along with a number of protests.

Results after Race 12 below with Race 13 completed but not posted due to a protest.

BG42 is digging his nails in at the top, with RW25 looking to consolidate in 5th, others are fighting hard to maintain station.

We have managed to get a quick “View from the shore”

GBR team coming good with PS139 and GEo9 having a ding dong in last A fleet for a 1-2. BG up and down like the rest fending off a good ESP90 in a fast Britpop. Even GB95 made A fleet in the end so things getting more normal. Really tough race, too many Britpop’s and similar now so skipper skill actually matters in huge waves, changing winds and hard courses. We will see what happens.
