Whitefriars SC, radio sailing event management.

During a recent discussion with the MD Committee the officers of the Whitefriars SC asked if we could help them with some event training as later this year they have offered to host both the DF and M sailors to their water in the Cotswolds Water Park. It is not a venue most of us have had the pleaseure of sailing at yet as the recent restrictions have stopped us visiting and meeting them face to face. We thus hosted two Zoom meetings with a couple of their race team and went over a lot of the MYA Race Management documents on the MYA knowledge base.

It is always good to welcome a new venue into the Midlands family of clubs, and if any other Midland club would like to have some event management training please get in contact with the MD webmaster, who will then set up a convient time to do some online video training for any race team that will be hosting events for us in the District during 2021.
