ND 2024 IOM Winter Series 2 Report and Results

A good turn out of 16 Skippers from 9 different clubs, were met with a light shifty wind giving ROD Brian Cheatham difficulties in course setting. After an hour, three races and three courses the wind died completely. Fortunately, after a short break the wind filled in to a nice steady North Westerly and a new course was set which remained for the rest of the day, giving some good racing. Six skippers took a win which was good although Peter Baldwin was most consistent to take the overall win with the home man David Darwell a good second and Roger Crates third.

It was nice to see the sailing done in good spirit with penalties been taken as required.

Thanks to the race team for sticking with it and producing a day I am sure everyone enjoyed.
