MYA Scottish District 2022 DF65 District Championship

The 2022 MYA DF65 District Championship was hosted by Kinghorn RSC at Kinghorn Loch on Saturday 10^th September 2022. This was the inaugural MYA Scottish District Championship for the DF65 class of radio-controlled yacht.

The close nature of the racing was very apparent with the DF65 one design. The bulk of the fleet was generally very close together during the races and the lead frequently changed several times during each race.

The overall winner and 2022 MYA Scottish District DF65 District Championship was Chris Nichols who is a member of both Levenhall and Kinghorn clubs. Chris won four of the races and came second in two other races. In Second place was Bill Odger who is a member of Buchanness RYC. Bill won three of the races and came second in three other races. In third place was Ian Marshall who is a member of Greenock MY&PBC.
