Met & Southern Ranking 23rd Sept- Results
The 2nd event of the weekend saw a complete contrast in weather when as forecast the heavens opened and the wind blew. The same cross lake direction as Saturday afternoon created problems for the race team and skippers alike, made more difficult by the driving rain and gusty conditions.
Some competitors didn’t start, others found conditions too harsh after the 1st rounds but those who did persevere were probably quite relieved when the race team finally gave up the battle after the thunder and lightning arrived mid afternoon.
The days sailing was curtailed but there were still 5 races completed and the positions were declared as:
