Manor Park RSC, DF95 Open Race Report

A Southerly breeze gave 8 skippers 20 challenging races.  The close competition between skippers meant, that there was a battle for first and second, between Rob Radbourne and Steve Venables.  A group of four were then contesting the middle places, comprising Colin Walton, Simon Collyer, Jim La Roche and Garry Box.  Finally, Graham Walley and Barry Rolfe completed the fleet.

Simon Richardson (PRO) set a course to the left of the island with a good run back to the control area.  The traditional Manor Park wind shifts meant that the race positions were changing all the time.  The finish line team of Carol and Dave recorded the outcomes.  A little bit of light drizzle was no problem.
