EGM Voting Results for Election of Officers

The EGM to elect volunteers to vacant Council positions has now been completed. The results have been checked by the MYA Trustees who have confirmed that each of the candidates has been correctly elected in accordance with MYA Constitution requirements.

The results show the following:

Voting forms were returned from 62 of the 105 clubs.

738 of the current membership count of 1837 voted: that represents 40.17% of the total membership.

All those featuring on the ballot paper achieved more than the 30% of members votes required.

Vice Chair            Darin Ballington    39.36%

Secretary to Council    Jen Hand         39.63%

Racing Officer         Nigel Barrow      40.12%

Technical Officer       Graham Bantock   35.27%

International Officer    James Hadden     39.96%
