Change of Registrars Details
If you are an IOM, 6M or A Class owner please note that the registrars contact details have changed.
From the 1st of Dec 2025, Jim La Roche is now the IOM Class registrar, replacing Nick Cowern.
Nick has undertaken the role of registrar for a considerable time and advised the Technical Officer that he wished to step down earlier in 2025.
On behalf of the IOM skippers and the MYA I would like to thank Nick for his service to the class and support for the MYA council, and hope that he continues to be active in the sport at the lakeside.

At the same time Martin Dovey agreed to take the role of 6M & A Class registrar over from Bill Green, both are very well known to the classes and in Bill we have a member who has devoted a massive amount of time and energy in supporting the classes, and the MYA council.
Bill will not be leaving the sport as he continues his role as Midland District Councillor, and active member of the Bournville club.
Thank you, Bill, and we hope to see both you and Nick at the lakeside in the future.
Jim’s introduction into the role will coincide with the MYA’s drive to bring all future IOM certification and registration information online, so please bear with him as he works with the DCO to fine tune the systems.
