At the 2008 AGM, the President the Chairman announced his panel had carefully considered the two proposals received by them for (1) John Lewis and (2) Henry Farley and had after careful consideration concluded that the award should go to Henry Farley for the enormous amount of work he daily continues to carry out for association members. The decision was warmly applauded by members.
