At the 2007 AGM, the Technical Secretary introduced to the AGM meeting the criteria of the Chris Dicks Award for the best design of a Footy yacht and this year again meeting the need for an innovative design for simple construction, easy to build, of good shape, and with a well thought out rig, and good sailing characteristics.
The outstanding example of the designs submitted was the POLLY design by Ian Dunmoor of Woodbridge club and to whom the trophy was presented by the Technical Secretary, Roger Stollery.
