AGM 2022 Announcement of Motions

Dear Members

The Annual General Meeting of the Model Yachting Association will take place on Saturday 26th November 2022 at the Dame Elizabeth Hall, Firbank Close, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1UA.

Council have received one motion from five clubs acting in unison in accordance with the MYA Constitution for inclusion in the 2022 MYA AGM.

Motion 1
“To revive the 2003 agreement with the RYA to delegate to the MYA the responsibility to appoint Official Measurers”

This motion was received from Guildford MYC, Gosport MYBC, Frensham Pond RSG, Fleetwood MY&PBC, and Leeds & Bradford MBC acting in unison.

Motion 2
The Audited Accounts for the year ended 30th September 2022 are accepted.

This motion is proposed by the MYA Council

The Audited Accounts will be made available as soon as possible after the end of the financial year.

Voting forms for Motions 1 and 2 along with any motion amendments that are submitted before the closing date will be sent to your Club Representatives in due course.
