2016 MDCS 2 & McCollough Cup – Results

Two Islands welcomed 19 skippers for the Midlands District IOM event competing for the McCollough Cup. After the previous day’s rain and sleet it was a pleasure to see blue skies albeit a little cold with a northerly wind. The wind direction was essential across the lake and onshore, meaning the windward mark was some distance away. This did give some skippers a ‘should have gone to Optician’ moment with buoys being missed and the odd contact.
