MYA M&S DF95 TT4 – Barton’s Point – 11th June 2026 Report and Results

After having to postpone the event by a week, 8 of the 12 original entrants turned up for another wet and windy day at East Kent RSC, Barton’s Point.

Following a short briefing, racing got under way just before 10:00 in a solid SSW breeze at the top end of A rig conditions. Dave Adams took the first win, with Nigel Barrow second and Adrian Tomlinson third. Nigel then went on a run of five straight wins, with Adrian and Dave sharing the second and third places.

As the day went on, the wind strength continually rose and fell, and some competitors changed to B rig and back again several times. Mike Brand was never far behind the top three, with Robin Aldcroft only a few points further back.

The rest of the day continued in much the same way, with Nigel scoring an impressive 15 wins from 16 races. Unfortunately, Simon Thornton, Michael Barnes and Peter Townsend all suffered various issues and had to withdraw.

Despite the rain, the racing was good and most of us were still smiling by the end of the day.
