RG65 Class 2024 Update
This year has seen a great turnout in the TT races for the RG65 class and next year there is a great calendar of events up and down the country. The TT events are arranged so that two events are held on the same weekend, so even if you can’t make one day, the other is a separate event.
The RG65 class is a great development class with 3d printed boats, carbon fibre, Kevlar and many other materials being used. The rules for measurement are simple and boats are self measured.
Many ask what is the difference with a DF65, it’s simple, the DF compiles to the RG65 rule but you can take the boats and rigging to a different level.
This weekend sees the final TT race taking place it Bourneville on Sunday 17th November, so come and have a look and whet your appetite.
Currently over 80 MYA members on their MYA data say they have an RG65, so it’s time to get them out.
