New Club – Welcome North Down Model Yacht Club

Based around the town of Bangor in Northern Ireland the club is currently racing only DF65s. Their main base is the Millisle Lagoon and sometimes Groomsport Harbour but soon will be able to use a possibly more suitable venue, in fresh water, at Conlig Reservoir just outside Bangor. As most of the members are retired they also organise ad hoc race days via a members WhatsApp group when the weather permits. They are also helping some DF65 owners in Strangford Lough to get clubs up and running.

Currently they have 25 MYA members with a few more joining soon.
