2021 MYA Midland District AGM, 14th November 2021.

Earlier this month a district AGM notice was sent out to all the Midland District club secretaiers setting out the timings for this year’s AGM, the main one is 14th November 2021 at 15:00 when the AGM will be conducted electronically by Zoom and an invite will be sent to the club representitives prior to this. This sets the timing for everything else and so we are now at the stage of sending out the AGM Agenda, all of these documents will have also been sent direct to your club secretary so if you have any thing that you would like to have included in the meeting please send your question to them first.

Then we have the current committee officer reports, Midlands District AGM 2021 Chairman Report , 2021 MYA MD AGM Webmaster report, others will follow.

Now to one of the main parts of the AGM and that is the election of officers for the 2022 season, so far we have received an offer for thier names to be included in the ballot from most of the current committee, but we are looking for a new District Councillor. Bill Green has decided to stand down after many years in the role, and we thank him for all his efforts and time in promoting and supporting the district on the MYA Council.

The Midland District Councillor is an important role and if you or any one you know would be be willing to find out what is involved or would like to put their name forward then please get in contact with Bill who I am sure will be willing to explain the role and offer support to get you started. Don’t forget all the Midland District Committee roles are up for election so just because there is a name willing to go forward it does not mean that we would not accept another nomination, please ask for details.

A full version of the dates will now go to the MYA Racing Officer for inclusion in the master calendar for 2022, and let’s hope we can get a full season of competition in next year.
