2025 Midland District Events

We got the early season off to a good start at Manor Park RSC with the first round of the Midland district DF95 series on 26th January, and this was followed by the IOMMDWCS event at Lincoln RSC last weekend. Reports of both are already on the MYA website.
As the Lincoln RSC IOM event was the only one, we could fit in during the winter, the top Midland district skipper for the winter 2024-2025 was Darin Ballington of the Lincoln RSC, and he wins the “Harry Briggs Trophy”. I am sure that Simon Richardson will be happy to present it to him next time he is at Manor Park RSC.

The first round of the Midland district IOMMDCS & C series takes place at Bournville RS&MBC on 2nd March and the NOR has already been published. Details in the MYA calendar, and I am sure Bournville will be happy to welcome you all to come and try their venue.
The other rounds that are scheduled for the IOM summer series are:
19th to 21st April at Lincoln RSC, this runs concurrent with the MYA National, and the Midland district clubs skipper’s results will be used as the results for round 2 of the series.
7th September at Bournville RS&MBC, this is also the “Mac Colyer” district trophy.
5th October at Lincoln RSC, tis is the “Clive Hand” trophy.
That gives the district four IOM series events through the summer.
