  1. I can't say better than what is written here. Find a decent boat, and if you want to go to the top, place an order for what you believe is better. I would just add that in UK there are probably some 2nd hand Britpops available, which are still able to win any International IOM event in good hands.
  2. 20 mm is huge. On a rig 1, If measured at forestay, 6 mm = 1 degree...you don't want to change more than 3 degrees...
  3. Lester, first of all, "it's a shame" in my writing is absolutely not an aggressive word as your answer seems to show. If you feel agressed, it was not my intention and please accept my apologies. So I won't answer more to your post, not to add fuel to this fire. Good evening.
  4. Thanks Graham for your vote. Lester, it's a shame that you couldn't suggest this change directly to IOMICA as a GBR proposal. But current suggested change allows IOMICA chairman and events VC to check if guest is or not affiliated to a DNM or a MNA. They won't sign an entry without checking this.
  5. Hi Richard, if you go to IOMICA website, in events section you will find a link to 2022 WC website noted above. But you are right, it could be more obvious on homepage. Regarding the report you ask for, it's not "usual" to get it on Iomica website. Maybe someone has pictures and notes, we would be happy to share such a report on IOMICA website.

  8. Hi Darin, looks like a tough week end ! Some thoughts : 1 If E66 is not modified in SI, then yes you have to retire because of a break to hope getting redress after such entanglement. 2 My head hurts... 3 In last leg BB2 can get a redress in place, but here there was no boat disabled so he can't. If you finish penalty behind BB2, there is no advantage. So I don't understand observer's call Except if he is still in irons and you are sailing. 4 Yes observer can observe this, and an umpire could ask for another penalty.
