June 1Jun 1 I have a ferryI have accomodationNow I just need a spot (actually two) on the entry list. 😄
June 2Jun 2 Author Hi Nigel, welcome back to Fleetwood.the NOR is being prepared and will be posted soon. Then you can enter and have your spots!!Looking forward to seeing you.D
June 5Jun 5 Author Gary Dickens,That would be amazing. In 1976 there was a tie for 1st place between David Andrews (Whirlwind winches) and Derek Stevenson resulting in a sail off for the trophy with everyone watching.A much better, more exciting way to settle a tie than today's countback!!
June 18Jun 18 Let’s pretend that I get a classic M up and running (I’ve been saying this for years but I will one day..) and let’s say I’d like to race that old girl too, but I need to qualify for the upcoming worlds and the ranking points are crucial (assuming they are still double at a nationals), can I only enter 1 boat? Will there be an option to sail oldies against oldies and still compete at the higher end??This might be the impetus I need to get K2477 going again..
June 18Jun 18 That's what I was wondering... if I get a Bloodaxe together would I have to sail it against the Grunges and Prime Numbers?

June 18Jun 18 I'm not in a position to advise on how modern vs. classic designs might be scored/rated (Mr B might know more), but in any case I'd like to drop into this thread the upcoming Ranking weekend at Lincoln - https://www.mya-uk.org.uk/events/#events/event-details/6900f2165991040322ddfaeb/You can be assured of a very warm welcome!
June 19Jun 19 Author Marblehead sailorsPlease, lets not make this too complicated! We at Fleetwood, think that there are lots of old classic & vintage Marbleheads in lofts & garages, which have not been raced for some years. We just thought that this will be a good opportunity for them come out to play.Rob, as you're looking for ranking points for next years worlds, obviously you'll bring your Grunge.Gary, we'd love you to come with your Bloodaxe (as I've mentioned before a Bloodaxe was joint 1`st in 1976) You may be racing with modern boats in the early heats, but the fleets will establish themselves, as they do with HMS, an soon you will be racing with the other vintage boats for a prize just for that class.Hope this makes sense, and you'll all come and join us for a weekend of celebration of "50 years the Radio Marblehead class"Entries are now OPEN!
June 29Jun 29 Author The one off win outright trophies for Classic & Vintage radio "Marble" heads, beautifully crafted by our Peter Iles. Available to win at this years Radio Marblehead Nationals. So, dig out your old Marblehead and come and try & win one.We look forward to seeing you, last weekend in September. From all at Fleetwood MYC.
June 30Jun 30 Will historic boats be allowed to race with original style sail numbers on new sails ? Eg K2477. Also what about older non elastomeric bumpers? Basically do old greyhounds need to be remeasured to current rules if they have a significant rebuild ?
