Hi all,

We have been building up a new class of DF65's at Clapham Model Yacht Club for club racing and to introduce new sailors to the science of sailing at our pond, Long Pond on Clapham Common. We have a few restrictions on the pond, being relatively shallow (more so in the summer months) but we now have around 15 DF65's and hope to have them all rigged and ready in time for summer. I have been a silent reader of the forum posts here but just wanted to say a huge thank-you for all your info, as its been incredibly useful in getting this all setup.

We're not quite there yet but if you ever feel like a Sunday 'away day' sail, and you are somewhere near London, feel free to come and join us for a race some Sunday soon. The cups of tea are on us.

Great news that this long established club still has passionate members, I know there have been struggles over recent years but I hope this us the start of many more years of sailing on the lake.
