Recently acquired an old IOM which had been laid-up for over 10 years and was received in a neglected condition. Since then I have renovated it and is now ready to see the water again. 
what I am seeking is knowledge on its age, the model type. I know that it was build by  Barry Chism the hull number is 1145.  Any information would be appreciated

You can try asking the IOM Registrar who can be contacted via the Registrars section of the Members Area accessed though the MYA Internal tab on the website having logged in.

GBR 1145 is registered as a Red wine design by Graham Bantock first measured 28th June 1994  - should you wish to register it please complete the new owners declaration form and forward to me with SAE for the return of the new certificate

Lucky man. Brad Gibson sailed  Red Wine to an excellent result at an IOM Nationals.
