Hello everyone, I'm sure someone can help me here.

I have recently obtained an Ericca IOM for use in very light winds as I was previously assured they are a very good light wind boat.

However I've not been entirely happy with the performance which is probably due to my rig set up especially as this boat is much wider in the beam that other IOM's I own. Is there an Ericca owner past or present able to help with this please?

Since you have had no replies yet; thought this may be useful.

I had a TS2 some time ago and remember that Craig Smith produced a useful tuning / setup guide for it. This may be a good steer if you can get hold of a copy. Certainly aimed at the skiff type designs.  Ericca is a useful and popular boat and still plenty around.

Ps to my last:

Brad Gibson's guide to "pimping" older designs may also be of interest. I followed it and updated my "Image" accordingly.  The largest change was the fin and this may your best option also. Significant improvement noted.
