A-Rig mast prebend

I have recently bought another IOM with 2 A rigs but the one with a new sail on does not set correctly (from the previous owner) due to too much prebend.

We are going to correct this on Wednesday what amount of prebend?

The mast is a normal 11mm dia black mast, Graphite sails sail on a Vision IOM.

Surely the prebend is removed by putting tension on the back stay. If it still doesn’t match the luff curve of the sail then it’s the position of the prebend rather than the amount. The sailmaker should be able to tell you where to put it.
