Ditton Dabler Posted April 28 Share Posted April 28 On Sunday 19 May Hampton Court MYC is hosting the re-scheduled Round 2 of the 2024 Metropolitan and Southern IOM Championship - so don’t forget to get your entries in soon. The sailing will take place in the lovely surroundings of Hampton Court’s Home Park on the Rick Pond, which has been the venue for model yacht racing since the 1890's. Kingston upon Thames is a 20 minute walk along the river towpath and Hampton Court Palace is a 10 minute walk. The club will be serving hot soup at lunchtime and hot drinks will be available throughout the day. Other benefits are a heated clubhouse with toilets and free parking! We look forward to welcoming as many as possible for a good day’s sailing with keen but friendly competition.
