I bought a IOM a which did not come with a transmitter ir receiver. Are there any recommendations?

Hi Paul the Flysky fs-i6 is a good system and great price. £45 new from a well known auction site

I get that the Joysway transmitter originally provided as part of the RC Yachts package for DF95 has been largely superseded by the FlySky fs-i6, but I’m still struggling to deal with the Joysway on a club boat. 
Can anyone talk me through, step by step, the process for limiting the throw on the Joysway? I have the flat headed tool, and think I can identify the right “aperture” but please assume zero knowledge this end.
