August 5, 20233 yr I’ve just acquired a B rig kit and was wondering if there was a set of instructions with dimensions for these rigs? I suppose it boils down to the position of the sheet fairleads and the position of the forestay and jib stay fitting on the mast? Thanks Simon

You know I have an idea that the mainsheet fairlead on the boom is the same as for the A rig, at least it needs to be pretty close to just astern of the ring on the bridle. As for the jib fairlead then that will be virtually over the sheet fairlead on the deck. The fiddly one is knowing the jib pivot point. Technically I suppose you want the aft end of the jib boom to be just a few mil forward of the mast but it would be useful if there was a distance in mm for that pivot point for all rigs in the Joysway assembly instructions. August 5, 20233 yr …….. and if you go to dfracing.world there are pdfs of build instructions and measurements.
August 6, 20233 yr Author Thank you but it's a 65 - should have made that clear ! The dfracing website gives you instructions about the Soch sails, not Joysway but I'll have a look on You Tube - good idea!! Thanks Edited August 6, 20233 yr by SimonCornes
August 6, 20233 yr The pictures of the DF65 rig kit here show Joysway hardware - not sure Sochsails make hardware - and there is a hand drawn diagram with dimensions from John Tushingham: https://dfracingdotworld.files.wordpress.com/2016/01/soch-sails-df65-rig-kit-manual-v1-3.pdf
