Thanks to those that have responded. Seems that few people have experience of these winches and by chance a fellow member at Woodspring has just purchased a used IOM and it’s fitted with a red ant and he’s having trouble with it, so it’s an RMG again for me!

Does anyone have any knowledge/experience of using these winches? I’m considering having one fitted to my new boat! Any comments welcomed! Many thanks Colin

Can I ask, have you introduced any specific changes to enable sailing to recommence? Is so would you mind sharing? Also, as I’m not familiar with your clubs environment, do you have any risks associated with mingling with the public? many thanks Colin Newton Woodspring model boat sailing club
