SW A Class round 4
The South West A Class series continues this Sunday (27th July) but with a change from its normal Woodspring venue to Durleigh Sailing Centre. Please note the first race will be at 14.00 continuing until 17.30 All welcome, still no formal entry or entry fee required. Launching is from a slipway, so bring wellies if you don't want wet feet. There is also a pontoon that can be used to launch but access is only permitted to this if you are wearing a buoyancy aid. Postcode is TA5 2AW. W3W again.struck.carbon gives the exact car park location. This is a great venue with all facilities in the clubhouse right next to the large lake.

Kingmax Servo Programmer
I'm using DSConfig v2.1 The LED remains green throughout the entire process. The only feedback I get from the programmer is a beep on read and write actions I've used the card to successfully program the following servos: KingMax SWG6114MD KingMax SW22HV Turnigy TGY-6109MD

Kingmax Servo Programmer
I've done it several times, this is the order I do things in which may help. Connect the programming card to PC via USB cable Run DSConfig.exe Click reflash USB which should then populate the box to the left of the button (with v1.2a in my case) Connect the servo to card ensuring negative goes on GND Click Read Config, there will be a beep and the config boxes should load values Adjust Left/Right range figures to the new values - I find this is a little bit trial an error to get the right settings Click Write Config to save the values Test winch on radio gear and repeat above to adjust as necessary.

6 Metre GBR website.
For some reason there is no content on the home page. If you go to a direct link the site is still there eg: http://sixmetresailing.weebly.com/news--six However if you then click on Home the page the displayed page is blank. So it appears it's actually the home page that is now blank rather than the site being down. Needs the site author to take a look at the homepage I believe

Identification of Unknown Yacht
The hull construction was in Polyester resin and chopped strand glass fibre mat. As long as any flex in the hull returns to the original position when any presure is removed then that sounds normal. However I've seen these stored on a stand in hot temperatures and that can result in a permanent dent in the hull around the stand supports. As long as that hasn't happened then you should be fine. As for refinishing it as per the other thread then my was spayed in celulose spray, but I think there are better paint finishes available now that will flex with the hull but others are probably better qualified to answer that than me.

Pretty certain thats an Oliver Lee designed and built Trapper Marblehead from the mid 1980's

Oliver Lee "Trapper" Marblehead
Yes, I think it was an attempt to get a one design class started that never caught on. This thread has prompted me to have a look through some old files, and in an attempt to assist with the original post have located this photo of my Trapper, which I think was the Mark 6 version. This was the final version before it was replaced by the Tracer design. I know my boat was originally registered in 1985 and suspect this photo was taken around that time.
