  2. Marblehead sailors Please, lets not make this too complicated! We at Fleetwood, think that there are lots of old classic & vintage Marbleheads in lofts & garages, which have not been raced for some years. We just thought that this will be a good opportunity for them come out to play. Rob, as you're looking for ranking points for next years worlds, obviously you'll bring your Grunge. Gary, we'd love you to come with your Bloodaxe (as I've mentioned before a Bloodaxe was joint 1`st in 1976) You may be racing with modern boats in the early heats, but the fleets will establish themselves, as they do with HMS, an soon you will be racing with the other vintage boats for a prize just for that class. Hope this makes sense, and you'll all come and join us for a weekend of celebration of "50 years the Radio Marblehead class" Entries are now OPEN!

  5. I am based near London , where would I perhaps be able to meet you and come and see the boat pls
  6. CDH replied to CDH's topic in IOM
    Yes it is.
  7. I'm not in a position to advise on how modern vs. classic designs might be scored/rated (Mr B might know more), but in any case I'd like to drop into this thread the upcoming Ranking weekend at Lincoln - https://www.mya-uk.org.uk/events/#events/event-details/6900f2165991040322ddfaeb/ You can be assured of a very warm welcome!
  8. And if Fleetwood serves up its finest C 2rig down the middle, then we’ll need to have a full wardrobe of rigs for them too…
  9. Hi - good afternoon Is your boat still for sale ?
  10. That's what I was wondering... if I get a Bloodaxe together would I have to sail it against the Grunges and Prime Numbers?
  11. Let’s pretend that I get a classic M up and running (I’ve been saying this for years but I will one day..) and let’s say I’d like to race that old girl too, but I need to qualify for the upcoming worlds and the ranking points are crucial (assuming they are still double at a nationals), can I only enter 1 boat? Will there be an option to sail oldies against oldies and still compete at the higher end?? This might be the impetus I need to get K2477 going again..

  18. Hi Stephen, Thanks for your insightful comment. BW Alan
  19. Depends on what it has with it to its value. I sold one and made an older man very happy as he had a britpop again, 2012 or so version and around the lower price range that someone said, it’s not always about ££££!
  20. Hello, Thank you for your estimate of the value of my Britpop, it’s helpful to have another estimate of its value. However I can’t accept or reject any offer since this site is not to advertise or sell yachts. Best wishes, Alan

Probably a wise choice to avoid all the extra transport costs.
  22. Hello, I am searching an IOM tyupe from,Britpop, Vickers, Obstinatio,.... Depending of the boat, its location, aditional items (boxes...) I can offer around 1500€. Just tell me.

  24. Hi John, thanks for your helpful and prompt response. It’s a good starting point, we will see what happens. Alan
  25. Over the past 12 months around 6 have been advertised on here between 1800 and 2400. What they sell for may be different depending on condition etc.
  26. I have a Britpop that I am thinking about selling but I have no idea of what to ask for it. No 167 about 10 yrs old, new mast, sails all new internals. Has had a good race record with previous owner. Alternately, I could just ask for offers and see what happens Your advice would be welcome. Thanks, Alan
  27. Sorry for you, I was convinced to buy your boat, but I will go for a Vicker in france....

PSN means personal sail number, in this case the number 19. Price is as advertised.
