July 28, 20232 yr Hello, I have recently joined the sport with an IOM. I have the IOM certificate for the boat from the previous owner and have completed the change of details, but I can't see anywhere to send the form, either by post or, preferably, by emailing a scanned copy. Can anyone please send me a link to the correct site? Many thanks. Graham
July 29, 20232 yr Hi Graham I have copied a previous answer that should help you get it sorted. 'Change of ownership is undertaken by the class registrar. All registrar details can be found in the 2020 MYA yearbook pages 48-49 and in the MYA members area under officer contacts. I'm not sure about other classes but the IOM class registrar details are not listed on the GBR IOM website due to data protection of our registrar. https://www.mya-uk.org.uk/forums/topic/2357-class-certificate-change-of-ownershift/?do=findComment&comment=7062'
July 29, 20232 yr Don’t forget to include a stamped, self addressed envelope to get your new certificate back!
July 30, 20232 yr Author Thanks for your replies. I don't have the 2020 yearbook, having only just joined, so have contacted the Technical Registrar via the Members Area for his advice.
July 30, 20232 yr Hi Graham, all you need to do is log on the MYA Website then under the Membership tab go to the MYA Members area. Once in just go to the Registrars tab and you will find contact details for the IOM Registrar. I recently asked if I could do the Change of Ownership online but was requested to send by post with a return stamped and addressed envelope. Hope this helps you. Regards Eric
