  1. Hi John, Thanks for the recommendation, i will look up the spec for regatta winches, but i am not looking to turn the boat into the ultimate speed machine just a reliable boat. Many thanks John, regards David Marten.
  2. I have recently bought a ROK Marblehead which i am refurbishing and replacing all the moving parts.Could anyone suggest a replacment winch which would not need too much adaption to fit the existing holes in the boat. The old winch is an Atlas Standard with a Whirwind 32mm drum , 59mm deep 46mm long 23mm wide, it maybe ok but i would rather not risk it. Regards David Marten.
  3. Thanks guys, Just bought and used sikaflex 291 and easy to use and did the job, thanks. Regards David Marten.

Hi, Has anyone had the same problem i have ? I have a new carbon keel for my boat and its slimmer than the old keel that its replaceing. When its fitted into the keel box there is a fair bit of movement as there is a gap of about 3-4mm all round the keel shaft to the edge of the slot in the hull.Any ideas of how to fix this problem? Kind regards David Marten.
