Hello, all! I've just acquired a boat by Tony Abel, it's a Marblehead, called "The Fugitive", and it came with a small booklet of all the Abel products, which is how I identified it. Unfortunately, although it has a lovely storage box, it came without a keel or bulb, and I'm wondering if anyone has any photos or diagrams to give me an idea of size weight etc. Both photos I have show it sitting on a stand, with the keel obscured. Or a copy of "The Radio Control Boat Modeller", from May/June 1986, in which it was reviewed. Any thoughts or ideas would be gratefully recieved, as I am keen to get it back on the water. I have two of these three lovely boats, and just sold the red one (Bloodhound), and am trying to get some definite identification for them. They look to be by the same designer, but the orange and yellow boats have a completely different rig, as you can see, but the same hull construction, while the red one has a similar look, but different hull construction.......I'm fascinated, because I love the way they sail and want to know more about them. Can anybody shed some light on them, please?
