Yes, I’m especially hoping the rig weight and under sail will make a difference...plus new RC items repositioned. Still enjoying all the learnings, as a lot of head scratching when I floated the hull to get a waterline.

Hi all i was great to come to the club today, meet some members and purchase Nicks 10 rater. I realised soon that membership and meeting people in person is such a useful thing when one is trying to solve yacht queries and wish to learn ever more about sailing and restoration. So here is my question… …I bought the yacht below unseen at auction. It was part of a few lots by the same Scilly Isles model yacht builder. This one was fully fitted with remote control and very ancient, so would seem from new, as his other yachts were also RC fitted. It has a keel weight I’ve never seen before and seems to be what was fitted since build. My float test showed a low bias at the back, which puzzled me, but a brief chat with Nick today might have reassured me?! Anyway, I’ve added a bunch of pics, so any comments, observations, advice and identification would be fabulous…as I try out this brilliant forum asset. Thank you Duncan
