    Replica J Class "Astra" For Sale

    This wonderful J class was built by Ian Shorfe in 2006. It is a scaled down version of Astra which was built in 1928. It is built using plank on frame construction using red cedar. It has a laid plank deck. The boom and mast are made of wood with sails made of cotton. It has 3 Hitec servos all working. One for the rudder, a winch for the mainsail and a lever arm for the jibs. She sails well. You'll just need your own battery pack plus transmitter and receiver. I have more photos but can't load them here Overall length 1.63 meters Located Salisbury.
