MX14 rig tuning
I’m wanting to set up the rig on my MX14, so wondering how to find the horizontal on the hull deck (or waterline) so I can get the mast vertical. Also is it correct that the keel leading edge could define the vertical? Basic stuff I’m afraid.

Club bank accounts
Hi We have just been told by our bank (Santander) that our free banking will end soon. We have a ‘club treasurers’ account. We are wondering if other clubs have free banking and if so which bank? The alternative is to be a charity. Are any MYA clubs registered charities? Thanks Don treasurer Market Bosworth RYC

Hello, I would welcome any advice on painting the hull of an IOM. Currently a bit scratched want to improve for club regional racing. I assume spray paint but is acrylic better than enamel. Or vehicle paints? Rub down with 1200 wet dry? Degrease etc. Prime? Any articles on line I could consult? Many thanks, Don- Issues with Futaba T6J and R2006GS
I have problems with the Futaba T6J and R2006GS transmitter/receiver; first there is a red light with a pinging sound, after a few seconds a flashing green light and no sound, after which solid green and all servos functioning. I am still learning about RC electronics so please any easy simple fix solutions would be gratefully received. Thanks- Nemesis; rig set up . .. . .
Hi, I am starting club racing with an old, but good condition Nemesis and wondering if I can improve her performance. So would be grateful if anyone could provide the rig set up or an owner sharing their rig measurements/settings. Any help appreciated. Cheers, Don- Kokonee Marblehead restoration
Hi, I'm new to the forum, hoping members can assist. I have just taken on the restoration of a Marblehead model yacht, which I have been told is a 1977 Kokonee design from Vancouver MYC. She has a pale blue hull and white deck in fibreglass. I am waiting for plans to check if measurements match up. She has a platform in the stern hatch with a cut out for a rudder servo but no platform in the main hatch nor signs of rc controls for the sails. I was wondering if anyone knows the boat and its history? Would it have been free sailed with just the rudder under rc control? I'm aiming to restore her as a 1970s-80s boat so no carbon fibre, etc. Some photos attached, cheers. Don - Painting the hull
