This hull was built from the 3D printed kit of parts supplied by John Arundel and completed by myself to the highest standard last September. She has a measurement certificate and is at minimum. My intention at the time was that she would be my last of a long line of IOM's. Sadly since then my fitness has rapidly declined to the point where I can no longer sail competitively, so reluctantly she must go.

The boat is completely fitted out with fittings from Sails etc , an S100 Mk 2 sail winch connected to a waterproof RMG deck switch, and has a Hitec waterproof rudder servo.

The top suit is a little used moulded set to Crag Richards specification from Sailboats, while 2nd and 3rd are unused and from Pierre Gonnet.

How does the Evo fit into the Proteus development series? I have an idea Craig Richards is testing the V5 at the moment.

Sorry about the.delay in responding. To explain Craig is making minor changes which are based on very minor detail to suit him in his search for the perfect boat for him to take to the Worids As I understand it the current kit you can buy is version 3 which effectively the same as my V1. If you wish to follow this further you can contact Craig’s agent for the project, John Arundell who can explain all

Don’t suppose you know anyone coming south for the Worlds that could transport to Datchet?

I'm not going to the worlds but my daughter and family live in St Albans. So, either I could meet you there at a date to suit, or at a pinch I could bring her to Datchet and then spend the night at St Albans.. Would this help?

Thank you Gordon, I’ve had a bit of input from Craig so now I have a much better idea now of what he was doing. Is your hull rubbed down then polished or painted?
