Vintage sail

I've heard from a couple of recent visitors to our lake that there may be a few vintage model sailing enthusiasts looking for good places to sail. At the Cotswold Model Yacht Club we have a great lake with almost unimpeded wind from every direction. We have access to a slipway so launching models from trailers and trolleys isn't a problem. If you'd like to visit please use the contact form on the www.cotswoldmodelyachtclub.co.uk or visit the club's Facebook page and send us a message. We can sail almost any day of the week although Sundays we'd need to ask our hosts.

Started out in 150ft schooner raced various 1 ton boats, Trapepr 300 and Dehler 35. Started out RC sailing 4 years ago with 30 year old IOM, then went to an ASBO, then Sedici, DF95. Whitefriars SC is now our host and we sail at least 3 days a week. The DF95 fleet is 10 boats  sailing weekly on a Monday. IOM fleet regularly see 10 boats sailing every Tuesday. Just begun to introduce D6 3D printed IOM to the UK
