2022 MD6MCS R3 Two Islands RYC results.

!0 skippers arrived at Two Islands RYC today for round 3 of the Midland District 6 Metre Champion Skipper Series. the wind early on was not promising coming from the South at about 2 mph but by the time we started it was varying from North-East to East and from 5 mph to a top of about 11 mph.

Most of the time we managed to have a beat on each lap and our major problem was trying to sort out overlaps at the far leeward buoy, but no tears were shed (not in public)

As can be seen from the results sheet (MD6MCSrace32022) Shaun Holbeche was sailing well, the other places were very close with the 3 new 6 metre skippers bringing up the rear, only one retirement a failed rudder servo.

The eligible skippers for the series are Shaun Holbeche Stephen Wheeler, Mike Kemp, Coin Davies, Paul Risdale Mike Rogers, and Mike Ewart as RO.
